Sometimes our lives seem to spins beyond your control. These are the times we most need to trust in God. Through the Lens of Mary is an eCourse about learning to let go and trust. This course offers practices and lessons from the life of Mary to help us turn every day anxieties and fears into a deep and joyful sense of acceptance of God’s will for us.
Using internal dialogue, prayer and reflections, this course will explore a path to inner peace and receptivity by following Our Blessed Mother’s profound model of acceptance. Who could be a better guide to the process of surrender than Mary, the Mother of God, who proclaimed in Luke "Thy Will Be Done!"
Kathy Coffey, award-winning writer for Liguorian magazine, and author of the acclaimed book Mary (part of the Catholic Spirituality for Adults series), will help you get acquainted with Mary in an immediate, relevant and very personal way. By seeing our lives through the lines sketched by Mary’s life, we will seek to deepen our understanding and acceptance of God’s will.
Each day begins with an Introduction to the lesson at hand, followed by a Self-Assessment guide. The course can be completed in five days or repeated over a period of weeks or months. It offers a unique approach to Mary that can deepen your devotion to Our Mother while drawing valuable lessons for your own life.
